b. Cable Assembly, Power, Electrical CX-11568/
A R M - 9 2 . The
power cable (fig.
1-4) is
used to
connect primary power to the test set. The cable
is a 4-conductor cable, 8 feet long, with a 5-pin
female connector on one end that connects to
the test set. On the other end are four color-
coded, insulated wires protruding from the cable
convering. The red wire is connected to the
positive side of a 27.5-volt dc power source. The
gray wire is connected to the high side of a 115-
volt, 400-cps power source.
Both the white wire
and black wire are connected to ground.
Additional Equipment Required
The following equipment is not supplied as
part of the Test Sets, Radio AN/ARM-92 or
AN/ARM-92A, but is required for use with it.
supply is required to supply a maximum of 33
watts to the test set.
b. Ac Power Supply.
A 115-voIt, 400-cps power
supply is required to supply a maximum of 92
watts to the test set.
c. Headset. A headset with at least 300-ohms
required to monitor the receiver audio output
signal.
